Welcome to room 403, third graders!
It's going to be a great year!
Hi, I'm Mrs. Whetzel and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! My job is to create a classroom where students are successful learners! Use the links in the green box (upper right corner) to find more information about our classroom.
Students learn best when they are challenged. This year, your student's assignments will involve more critical thinking and problem solving. Third grade is a transitional year where students will become more independent thinkers. They'll have to think about "how," "why," and reflect on everything we do. Don't be fooled - thinking and learning is hard work!
I love talking to parents! You know your child best and I appreciate your insights. Please do not hesitate me to contact me with questions or concerns. I want your child to have the most successful year possible - and I can't do that alone, I need your help!
